At MC2, we believe every voice matters. Our Community Advocacy page provides the resources and connections you need to raise awareness, influence decision-makers, and drive improvements in Williamson County’s social services.
Training Workshops
Facilitation: equipping community leaders with the skills to guide meaningful conversations, build consensus, and drive collective action. Through hands-on practice and proven techniques, participants leave ready to facilitate spaces where every voice is heard and real change begins.
Grassroots Organizing: Learn how to identify key players, map relationships, and build the kind of trust that turns neighbors into allies and allies into movements. Our training gives you the strategic tools to grow coalitions with intention, mobilize people around shared values, and keep your community engaged for the long haul.
Coalition Building & Networking
EWCC: The EWCC brings together local nonprofits and community organizations to align around the issues that matter most, from housing and health to economic opportunity. Together, we’re building the collective power needed to ensure East Wilco gets the investment, attention, and resources its communities deserve.
Coffee and Connection: Roundtable discussions where nonprofits, businesses, and civic groups identify shared priorities and plan joint initiatives.
Collectives: Small cohorts focused on topics of nonprofit leadership, marketing and communications, and foster care, meeting regularly to strategize and share resources.
Food Action Groups: Connect with others who are committed to building equitable, resilient local food systems. Whether you’re tackling food access, advocating for policy change, or strengthening community gardens and co-ops, our network helps you organize with purpose and turn shared passion into lasting impact.
